I decided to replicate the arrow project and also use up some of the old fence boards. The results?
Pretty dang sweet. Some more pics from the process:
Confession time: I made this arrow and was really happy with it. Dad made the suggestion that I use old fence nails as hangers. Great, awesome. I drilled pilot holes and started to hammer the nails in…and then the wood split. I had to take a deep breath and figure out what to do. And I ended up making another straight piece with Kurt’s help (I taught him about the beauty of the Kreg jig and pocket holes). Same arrow, different board, one frustrated me.
