When I’m in desperate need of a plan or inspiration for an upcoming repurposing project, I turn to Pinterest (you can easily follow me using the green bar at the top of the page or the sidebar icons). It seems many of my favorite projects evolve from a few key places and DIYers. Today I wanted to share the best DIY websites for free plans to follow for your own benefit.
—-> Remodelaholic: this is a collaborative site that features different and up and coming DIY experts. I also suggest following their Facebook page for the most current projects.
—-> Her Toolbelt: Amy is one of the bloggers that I first met at the Haven Conference a few years ago. She is an AMAZING and talented blogger with a DIY mind that never ceases to amaze me. Her latest project is a convertible picnic table that transforms into benches!
—-> Rogue Engineer: Jamison is another Haven blogger and again, never ceases to amaze me with high quality projects and easy to follow plans. One of my favorites is this console table – super easy and inexpensive but looks ridiculously hard and expensive.
—-> Build-Basic: This is a newer DIY site for me but I am in love with the photo tutorials and step by step directions. Plus Jenn from Build-Basic showcases how you can save a ton of money with her projects like this DIY kitchen island.
—-> Ana White: If there is only one DIY website that you subscribe to and follow religiously, you have to make it Ana White’s site. Simple, precise, and an absolute goldmine of different projects like this Lego coffee table.
There are a TON of other bloggers that I could recommend but these are my essential go to bloggers for building plans. Anyone that you would recommend – let me know in the comments!
